Welcome on the new homepage of the department for Management Science and Technology. This website provides information about the department, its bodies as well as teaching, research and services of its various institutes.
The department was founded in 2008 and includes today 12 institutes active in classical and cross-disciplinary fields of managerial economics as well as logistics and transportation systems.
With the new department and its institutes the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH) is further adding to its competence in educating engineers with managerial competence. Consequently new offerings on the Bachelor- and master Level have been added, including programs like a BA in Logistics and Mobility (LUM) or an MSc in Industrial Engineering (IWI) and an MSc in Global Innovation Management (GIM). Besides teaching new research centres have been created, which are closely cooperating within the department, with other TUHH departments in technical fields as well as with external network partners and Universities. Another focus is on educating prospective researchers and doctoral students.
