German Language Bachelor´s Programs:
Elektrotechnik (Electrical Engineering)
Three-year Bachelor of Science Course
Electrical engineering and information technology are supporting pillars of our highly industrialized society and provide the impetus for technological progress. The fields of production are communications engineering, measurement and control engineering, microwave engineering (high-frequency engineering), optics, nanoelectronics (or microelectronics) and microsystems, and energy technology. The German electrical industry owes its strong position in the export of electro-technical products largely to the implementation of new microelectronic technologies. Examples include medical engineering applications (magnetic resonance imaging), applications for fuel cells in microsystems engineering, radar technology for motor vehicles, and the development of communications engineering (e.g. mobile telephony).
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, you can continue your studies at the TUHH in:
–> Elektrotechnik (Electrical Engineering)
–> Internationales Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Industrial Engineering Management)
–> Information and Communication Systems
–> Microelectronics and Microsystems
(Internationally oriented, predominantly English-medium courses)
(Each a two-year Master of Science course)
