Joint European Master in Environmental Studies (JEMES)

As from October 2007, a new international Master programme in Environmental Studies is offered jointly by TUHH in Germany, Universität Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain, Universidade de Aveiro in Portugal and Aalborg Universitet in Denmark. This exclusive high-end programme requires students to study in at least two of the universities.
For its outstanding academic quality, JEMES was selected by the European Union as an ERASMUS MUNDUS programme.

The programme is devoted to the quality of the environment and related technologies as well as to sustainable management and conservation. The programme deals both from a technological and managerial perspective, with chemical, physical and biological changes in the environment and considers the behaviour of air, water and soil as they are affected by anthropogenic activities.

The application deadline for non-European candidates for the ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarship (category A) is 31 December. The application deadline for European candidates for the ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarship (category B) is 31 January. The application deadline for all self-funded applicants is 31 May.
