Scholarships for Doctoral Candidates

Scholarships Awarded on the Basis of the Hamburg Promotion of Scientific and Artistic Talent Act

The Hamburg University of Technology awards scholarships on the basis of the Hamburgisches Gesetz zur Förderung des wissenschaftlichen und künstlerischen Nachwuchses (HmbNFG), to give it its German name.
Scholarships are awarded to especially qualified graduate students who are preparing for their doctoral dissertation at the TUHH.
Work on a dissertation qualifies for financial support in special measure if the project seems likely to make a major contribution toward research.

Details are posted on the University's notice boards once a year.
