Rooms for International Freshmen in “Harburger Häuser ” Student Hall of Residence

The student hall in the Bunatwiete has a about 50 single rooms.This hall of residence is centrally located in Harburg, within walking distance or alternatively at a short bus ride from TUHH. It is not far from harburg station which has good public transport connections to the centre of Hamburg. Parking spaces for cars, motorbikes and bicycles are also available.
Between two and six students live together in an apartment, sharing a fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities. Cleaning should be taken care of by the residents themselves. The rooms are furnished and between 13-17 m² in size. Each one has sockets for a telephone, TV and Internet. Television sets should be registered with the GEZ (for a small charge) and telephone contracts are the residents' responsibility.
In the basement there are washing machines and dryers (coin-operated). There is also a music room, a room for drawing, a conference room and pool room available for residents in a building near by. The bar in the "Wohnhaus Harburg" hall of residence, at close proximity, may also be used by residents.
The monthly rent is about EUR 239,-
The rent includes costs for heating, water, electricity etc. The cost of the Internet connection is also included, with a monthly use of two gigabytes.
