This hall of residence comprises 6 buildings with a total of 216 single rooms. It is located in central Harburg, within walking distance or alternatively at a short bus ride from TUHH. It is not far from Harburg station which has good public transport connections to the centre of Hamburg. There is no car parking available but plenty of space for bikes.
Between two and six people live together in apartments. All rooms are furnished and about 12m² in size. The residents share a fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities. Cleaning should be taken care of by the residents themselves. Each room has a telephone, TV and Internet connection. Television sets should be registered with the GEZ (for a small charge) and telephone contracts are the residents' responsibility.
There is a bar, a video room, a photo laboratory, a pottery workshop, a pool room and fitness room on the premesis. In the basement there are coin-operated washing machines and dryers.
The monthly rent is about EUR 239,-
The rent includes costs for heating, water, electricity etc. The cost of the Internet connection is also included, with a monthly use of two gigabytes.
