The European Commission: ERASMUS

ERASMUS is a European Union student mobility program. A special feature of ERASMUS programs is that students are exempted from paying student fees abroad and that the credits they gain abroad count toward their degree course back home. A language proficiency test is in most cases not an admission requirement, but there are exceptions. Applications and further information from the International Office at the TUHH. Maximum scholarship EUR 300 per month.

Project work presupposes that you have an academic supervisor both at the TUHH and at the host university. Your contact at the host university will put you in touch with an academic supervisor in your field of study or research. For further information please contact the officer in charge of the ERASMUS program.

Applications for the following academic year, i.e. the winter and summer semester, must be made between December 1 and the last working day in January.

As members of the ECIU Network some partner universities also offer the opportunity to combine studying with an industrial internship. ERASMUS funding is available if you spend at least three months abroad. Application period as for the ERASMUS program.

Universities that offer this option are: Aalborg Universitet (DK), Universidade de Aveiro (P), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (ES), Université de Technologie de Compiègne (F), Universiteit Twente (NL).
