The Central Student Counseling Service offers students information, orientation and advice on their studies.

It holds customized study advisory sessions in the form of group or individual appointments and also provides psychological counseling.

The Central Student Counseling Service also organizes a variety of large-scale study information events and offers StartING@TUHH, a tutor-supported program to help students settle in to their studies at TUHH.

During Student Counseling Service consultation periods we take time to answer your questions, e.g. on your choice of course, your study optimization, time management and preparation for exams. If necessary, in addition to the consultation period further individual consultations can be arranged.

Please sign on for the consultation period in the Infothek well before the start of the consultation period and be prepared for a wait if there is a rush of people.

We offer tutorials to help students in the first semester of Bachelor courses to settle in to their studies at the TUHH. Tutors who have been trained in group moderation accompany students throughout their first semester.
