PROFIS@TUHH Project Workshop
In November 2006 a workshop was held as part of the DAAD’s PROFIS@TUHH project in which TUUHH alumni were trained as ambassadors. Ten participants from Cameroon, China, Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras, India, Nepal, Syria, and Turkey attended to look into issues and requirements that an ambassador’s role involves

The first Workshop of the Ambassadors Project of the PROFIS@TUHH was held at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) on 18th November 2006 and followed by an excursion in the Harbour of the Hamburg City. I first express here my gratitude to organizers for my participation to it. I still remember the Workshop as a pleasant moment breaking routine in my daily activities.
Everything about the Workshop could get out of me, but the two driving points of the TUHH-Ambassador's bag will remain in my mind: firstly what I possess as a former master's student of the TUHH and secondarily how could I deploy this possession in relationship to prospective students of my University. Thus the Workshop helped me to come to this reality that beside the acquired technology at the University, I have something that could effectively help prospective students.
I was comfortable during the whole Workshop as it was scrolled in an exciting manner just like a «game» where I was eager to know what is coming next! Like many other participants I did not feel time passing at all! A point to mention is that the Workshop was guided by an external expert of the University; I think this has let participants to freely express themselves and enriched all interesting discussions we had.
In my opinion and for coming sessions, the TUHH-Ambassador's bag could be exposed and filled in two consecutive days to deeper and intensify discussions about its various aspects between participants. I believe the Ambassadors Project could benefit from after-Workshop discussions between Ambassadors through a discussion platform that will also keep them connected all together.
I greet the initiative «PROFIS» for TUHH-Ambassadors as I see it as a great opportunity for prospective students especially from Africa to join my University, our international platform of knowledge.
