Career Service

The Career Service, along with the Business Service, plays a key role as an intermediary at the interface between the education and the employment system.

The services that we provide are aimed at three target groups: first the students we accompany as they move forward from their studies to a career, then the companies for which the Business Service provides a central point of contact, and finally the university departments, which we are supporting by making a centrally organized, cross-disciplinary, relevant practical contribution toward the reform of studies.

In times of structural change in the world of employment, students are expected to show a great sense of personal responsibility for their career and life planning. Career services as central points of contact and connection can support individual endeavors but cannot replace them.

Literature, links and hints on subjects such as job applications and the employment market are available from the Career Service Infopool in the Infothek.

Students and graduates can acquire cross-disciplinary qualifications in soft skills in seminars and make use of career planning consulting facilities.
