| FAQs
about CIT and the CIT universities
Why
do you offer this CIT-Programme with integrated studies
abroad?
International experience is an excellent ticket for an
interesting job. In CIT, the guiding principle for successful
studies abroad is “no loss of time and quality”.
You will benefit from more classes that display cutting-edge
expertise and with a bit of luck, you may even get a scholarship.
What
do I have to bring along to study CIT or a TUHH course in the field?
In any case, interest in technology, enthusiasm for your
subject and perseverance. Perfect preparation for the
Bachelor courses are top High School grades in math and
physics or computer science. Plus an appropriate Bachelor‘s
degree with good grades, and fluency in English.
Who
will help if I will get stuck?
Each partner university has well-trained staff to help you out. For example, at TUHH, we offer assistance by trained tutors at the entry
stage („StartING“), moderated learning teams,
and review sessions in small groups.
- During „Prof-Time“ (once a fortnight), professors
will talk with you over a cup of coffee or tea about
your studies, campus life, internships, stays abroad,
research topics, your personal situation, career perspectives…
- Regular
meetings with PhD students and professors provide feedback,
especially during the project and dissertation phase.
- Trained
staff of the Student Secretariat advises you on questions
about enrolment, scholarships, exams, etc.
What can I do with the CIT double degree or another degree of your schools?
Our graduates work in research, development, design, prototyping,
manufacturing – often in connection with activities
in consulting, project steering and management. And of
course as doctoral students at TUHH, PdT or AAU.
Maybe of some importance, too: Due to the strong demand
for engineers on the job market, salaries are very attractive.
Where
do your graduates end up?
In very interesting positions. You don’t believe
it? Have a look at a few examples under www.tuhh.de/studium/studienbereich/et_it/vitae/

TUHH with its park-like campus is very well connected
