This Masters, taught entirely in English, aims to specialise students in the
science and engineering of ceramics, metals, polymers, and composites, with
emphasis on a variety of subjects like materials for electronics, biomaterials,
nanotechnologies, etc.
This is an interdisciplinary Masters in Materials Science presented by the
European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU), integrating course units
delivered by academic staff from the 3 partner universities and leading guest
researchers.

university (e.g. for subsidised use of public transport, contribution to
independent student union/association etc.)
Interested students who fulfil the requirements can be enrolled at Universidade de
Aveiro (Portugal) or at Hamburg University of Technology (Germany). Aalborg
Universitet (Denmark) can only accept students in the third or fourth
