If you come by bus or by train ...
- Coming from Hamburg Main Station, take the S-Bahn S3 or S31 towards Harburg or Neugraben and exit at Harburg-Rathaus NOT Harburg !. Following the TUHH sign, walk about 500 meters along Eissendorfer Str.
- Coming from Harburg Station take bus 14, 143, or 443 towards Eissendorf and exit at Technische Universität (3rd. stop).
If you come by plane ...
- At the "S-Bahn" Station "Hamburg Airport (Flughafen)" take the line S 1 (green) to "Hauptbahnhof". At "Hauptbahnhof" you change platforms to take the S 3 (violet, direction "Stade", "Neugraben" or "Harburg Rathaus") and go to "Harburg Rathaus". In the station "Harburg Rathaus" you follow the signs "University", get out at the "Eissendorfer Strasse" and follow this road (slightly uphill) for about 500 m. TUHH is on your right. For the trip you need a day ticket (Tageskarte) which you get from the ticket machine. Once you reach the campus look for a building with a label E; the building is near to the NIT. You will find our department in the 1st floor, room 1.058. In the violet building (E) you find us.
If you come by car ...
Coming by Train from Hamburg-Harburg Station
From Hamburg-Harburg central station, best to take the bus 142, direction "AK Harburg" or "Hans-Dewitz-Ring" (NOT to Midsommerland).
Bus stop: Kasernenstr.
Cross the road and pass the old army building (red brick building), leave it on the left handside and go down to the campus.
Schwarzenbergstr. 95E (Lindwurm), is the long building on the right.

Coming by S-Bahn
If you come any other way and take the S-Bahn, you can either leave at Heimfeld or Harburg-Rathaus (the locals recommend Rathaus) - the distance is more or less the same - in both cases try to walk to Schwarzenbergstr. and follow the instructions above from bus stop Kasernenstr (which is on Schwarzenbergstr.)
