Scientific Dissertation Projects and Short-Duration Scientific Projects
Shorter duration (approximately 150-200h) experimental/theoretical or numerical/computational projects ("Studienarbeit") will be used to develop experience solving limited-scale problems.
The scientific dissertation project ("Diplomarbeit", "Masterthesis", "Bachelorthesis") allows students to demonstrate the knowledge they have acquired by solving an original problem. Project topics can be selected from a range offered by the department.
