Content:

Introduction to ceramic processing with emphasis on advanced structural ceramics. The course also includes new developments in powderless forming techniques of ceramics and ceramic composites. Many examples are presented, including real (touchable) components, to give engineering students an understanding of technology development, designing with ceramics and specific applications of ceramic components.
