  • Regarding TUHH

    Why TUHH?

The Hamburg University of Technology is one of the youngest universities in Germany and offers International Master's degree courses with an aim to produce world class engineers for the future. It is equipped with a beautiful campus, with state of the art laboratories and a well-equipped library catering to the needs of all students who want to pursue a solid engineering education.

    TUHH and Industry Association?

TUHH works in close collaboration with various German companies like Airbus, Thyssenkrupp technologies, Deutsche Bahn and many more, in order to have a correct mix of theory and practical training. On many occasions, there are industry visits and also industry practitioners and experts come down to take classes, giving the most relevant information to the students.

I have been admitted to TUHH & also to ABC university. Can you tell me which is better/reputed. Which Uni should I choose ?

We cannot answer such questions, simply because there is no simple straight forward answer! All we could say is that TUHH is a very well reputed, respected & recognised Uni in Germany & all over the world. Remember that majority of the Unis in Germany receive their funding from the Govt. So all of them are more or less standard with the facilities & infrastructure they offer. Each Uni has a diff research focus, even though they might be offering the same kind of courses. So read through their course content carefully. The key aspects you need to consider as a student to make such desicions are your a match between your interests & the course content, research areas & the projects being handled by the Unis.

Is it mandatory to learn German before coming to Germany?

No, but we will reccomend it, as it will be an added advantage for you to manage your day to day life. Everywhere in Germany, you will realise the importance of being able to speak the language. Try to learn as much as you can before coming here. No point in arguing that the course is in English, its an international program etc. If you want to find a job, plan to stay here for a few years after graduating, then your chances of finding a job are directly related to your German language skills.
