In the summer of 2009, ISATUHH joined hands with a global NGO, Asha for Education to closely cooperate with the Munich chapter of Asha to raise funds to support education of the underprivileged children in India. ISATUHH - the student organization is characterized by a group of enthusiastic and motivated Indian students pursuing Masters and Management degrees at the Hamburg University of Technology, Northern Institute of Technology Management and Kuehne school of Logistics.
We, the students of ISATUHH, share a common belief that children represent the future of any country and proper education plays a vital role in shaping ones life. In an effort to help the socio-economically challenged ones, ISATUHH has teamed up with Asha for Education's chapter in Munich to support the cause of 'Donate to Educate'.

Our Vision is to provide help to poor children across all states and union territories in India by raising funds for their education. We are eager to reach the bottom of the pyramid to cater to the basic needs with a prime focus on education for children who because of lack of money, opportunity or infrastructure are unable to pursue the same. We whole heartily believe 'Education is a birth right' and should be made available to all strata of the Indian society. We strongly believe in our dreams of eradicating illiteracy from India and making education available for one and all.
Our motto is 'Together, We can make a difference'.

ISATUHH believes in working with utmost professionalism, honesty and transparency. We are reaching out to Indians and Non-Indians primarily in Northern Germany through every media asking for donations and ideas to help create our base. In a view to pursue our goals we have come up with the following ideas:

• Making monthly/quarterly donations to Asha's chapter in Munich
• Selecting and Analyzing Projects along with site selection wherein we can fund educational projects in India.
• Reaching out to more students and professionals willing to help us not only with fund raising but also with brilliant ideas to create a socio-economic advantage for the poor and needy.
• Working in Close cooperation with Asha in Munich through meetings to get the best possible results.
• Launching a NGO in Hamburg at the quickest possible date.

The NGO from ISATUHH supports Asha for Education, Munich chapter and Vivekananda Resurgence Foundation in India funding fully a preparatory school in one the Jhuggi (slums) Clusters at C-35, Satsang Colony, Wazirpur Industrial Area Delhi-110052 which started with around 18 students. With this preparatory school, VRF intends to prepare the slum children for admission to neighbourhood Municipality schools, so that they get into the mainstream of the education. Usually, the parents of these slum children prefer to keep them at home to look after smaller brethren, as both the parents go to job. Since this preparatory school is in their residential complex, parents find it profitable to send their children to this school.

ISATUHH funded VRF for the preparatory school with 2133 Euros covering all costs for the school in FY 09-10 and is committed to helping VRF and Asha Munich to build the school by bringing in more students which are currently 80 in number.

ISATUHH is a non-profit student organization led by Indian Students at the TU Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH) operating under AStA of TUHH. All funds that are raised will be donated to Asha's Munich chapter and will be published on the Yahoo Group of ISATUHH with the names of the volunteers and the respective amounts donated. Furthermore, Asha's Munich chapter will publish the news of the alliance with ISATUHH along with further details on their website.
