Getting acess to information on courses:
INTRANET
In the intranet of TUHH you have the possibility to subscribe for your courses to get the current information
(e.g. lessons that doesn't take place, documents, etc.).
- Log-In to the intranet (http://intranet.tu-harburg.de/) with your TUHH-Account and your Password
- "Aktuelles Semester" (current semester) (on the left)
- click on "nach Studiengängen" (by courses of study)
- click on your course / semester
- you will get your university calendar
- mark the small boxes of the courses you want to subscribe
- click on "markierte Vorlesungen abonnieren" (subscribe to the marked courses) at the end of the page
- click "eigene Auswahl" (own choice) then you see all marked courses, if you click "Kalendarische Ansicht" you get a timetable
Stud.IP (https://e-learning.tu-harburg.de/studip/)
Some institutes load up their documents and current information on Stud.IP.
There you have an overview of all your courses and the documents provided.
You will also have the opportunity to communicate with the students and the lecturers of your courses.
- Log-In with your TUHH-Account and your Password
- click on My Courses
- click on search function (on the right) and search for the course
- click on enter yourself for the course (on the right)

Registration for Exams

- You will get the forms for registration in the information office in the registration period
- Once you applied for an exam, you have the possibility to unsubscribe from the exam until one week before the date of the exam
- For this you have to get in contact with your Examination Office
- If you cannot participate on the exam caused by sickness, you have to present an attestation from a doctor at the date of the exam, which you have to submit to your examination office the latest 3 days after the exam, otherwise your exam will be assessed as failed!
- If you failed an exam or missed it caused by sickness, you are subscribed automatically in the next exam period and you can't unsubscribe from the exam
- it is mandatory to participate in these exams, otherwise they will be assessed with failed!

- A good opportunity to travel around in the north of germany are the "Ländertickets" (Regional tickets) offered by the Deutsche Bahn: (externer Link)http://www.bahn.de/p/view/index.shtml
- At the weekends it is recommendable to use the "Schönes-Wochenende-Tickets" (Happy-Weekend-Ticket) which you can buy at the main stations at the automat. It is valid for regional trains for five persons for one saturday or sunday. Costs: 33,- Euro
