Sophos campus contract

The computing centre has entered a campus contract with Sophos.

This software can be used for research, teaching and private purposes by all members of the TUHH.

Automatic installation and updates

As any other antivirus software, this software must also be updated regularly. For this purpose the computer centre runs a web server which is getting program and virus signature updates from Sophos regularly. The client software on your computer must get its updates from this web server.

Since viruses and worms spread in the internet very fast, you will need updates at least every hour.
