References to the printing quota

The printers of the computing center may be used only for study purposes.
All prints in the computing center of the TUHH must be paid. The price overview is on-line.
The student accounts are provided with a printing account. On this account each semester 5 euro are credited by the computing center of the TUHH.
The prints are charged against the printing account. If the 5 euro are exhausted, money can be deposited by the students into the printing account.

No free printing quota

At present a printing quota is fixed by 5 euro per semester.
The printing quota compensate misprints - there is no free printing quota!
The not used part of the printing quota decays at the end of each semester.

Buy printing quota

The printing quota can be increased in the user service center (USC) during the opening times.
The deposit takes place by EC card and PIN or by money card. The minimum amount for a deposit was set on 3 euro.
Depositing of cash is possible only for well justified exceptions.
Customer deposits will be transferred into the next semester.
The printing quota cannot be given to other students.
The payout of acquired printing quota is possible only in well justified exceptions.

Transfer of the printing quota into the following semester.

At the beginning of the semester (1th of April and 1th of October) the new printing quota is set after the first printing job.
Paid printing quota is transferred into the new semester.
Negative printing quotas are transferred into the new semester.

Unix: Show print quota: druckquota [-h|-s|-v|-l|-L]
Windows XP: Go to "Studi-Druck" and click the command "show the printer quota"/"Zeige die Druckerquote".

Each student is requested to distribute its printing quota carefully over the semester.
