User rules: What are you allowed to do? / What are you not allowed to do?

By using your computer account in the computing center of the TUHH you accepted our regulations user rules .

Please read the following paragraphs in particular:

• 2 Tasks
• 8 Rights and Duties of Users
• 9 Misuse
• 10 Exclusion and Cancelling of Approval

This is not allowed:

• Download and distribution of copyrighted material (e.g. movies, music and software)
• Use of peer-to-peer (filesharing) software like BitTorrent, Kazaa, eDonkey, WinMX etc.
• Printouts that obviously do not serve the purpose of study
• Occupation of pool-computers with playing computer games and private chat-sessions

Complaints from students about events in the computer pools:

• Loud talks in groups
• Locked computers over lunch
• Talking on mobile phones in the computer pools
• Trash on the computer-desks

We have to point out that the computers, printers and networkservices of the computing center may only be used for purposes of studying.
Our computer pools are not just another internet-cafe!. Please be considerate of your fellow students! In case of misuse we will lock your account.
