License agreement

Apart from students/trainees the MSDN Academic Alliance may yet be used by the followings groups of persons:

• Professors and lecturers within the scope of their teaching activities and all domains linked with it.
• Research assistants within the scope of teaching activities and for their academic and continuing education for example within the scope of a doctoral or postdoctoral thesis.
• Administrators provided that they conduct laboratories for academic education with it.

The MSDN Academic Alliance can be used for research purposes solely at universities, as long as they are directly linked with academic teaching activities. By that Microsoft understands student research and degree or research projects within the scope of the academic and continuing education, such as doctoral or postdoctoral thesis. Others research projects cannot be supported by the MSDN Academic Alliance.

How to download Microsoft Softwares:

• Register for the MSDNAA Program of the TUHH. ,
• Wait until the user name and password for the ELMS are sent per Email.
• Save the MSDNAA Portal of the TUHH in your bookmarks!
• Read the online instructions!

The download just works from the computer network of the TU. One should install a VPN-client on the home desktop in order to register a personal PC in the network of the TU. VPN-Service (This page is accessible within the TUHH network only.)
