How to log out

When you are finished browsing personalized websites, always remember to log out of these sites and the TUHH "Weblogin Service" before leaving your computer. To do so, completely exit your Web browser. This is the best way to prevent others from accessing your personal information and visiting websites using your User ID as if they were you.

If you cannot exit your Web browser, use these steps to log out:

• Delete your web browser's "Weblogin Service" cookies on your computer. It is recommended that you clear all cookies.

  How to delete cookies:

  • Windows Internet Explorer 5 / 6
    1. Open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu and choose Internet Options.
    2. Click the Delete Cookies button.
    3. Click OK.

  • Mozilla
    1. Click Edit/Preferences and select Privacy & Security then choose Cookie Manager.
    2. On the submenu, choose Stored Cookies. The Cookie Manager opens and lists the cookies stored on your computer.
    3. Select one or more cookies and click Remove Cookie. Clicking Remove All Cookies will delete all cookies.

• The "Weblogin Service" supports per-application logout features. To log out of a Weblogin-protected application, visit the logout directory (if it exists) within the application site.

• If you did not log out of each personalized website you visited this session, revisit each site and make sure you are logged out.

• To log out of the "Weblogin Service" itself, and thereby end your "single sign-in" period, click this button:
