This course is primarily aimed at Master students!

Technology Assessment (TA) deals with the comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the development and application of technology
as well as the social, political, economical, and environmental impacts of new technology in relation to processes of societal change.
The course presents an overview of the main concepts and selected methods of Technology Assessment (e.g. sociological studies in
risk research, Delphi Technique, Scenario Writing, Consensus Conference, Mediation).
