  1. Numerical methods for the determination of section forces
  2. Steep waves (Stokes-Theory)
  3. 3d-potential flow methods
  4. Time domain simulaiton of ship motions
  5. Capsizing
  6. Slamming

Learning Outcomes:

Detailed knowledge of methods for the determination of linear effects of ship motions in natural waves. Introduction of methods for the determination of non-linear wave effects on ships.
