Rebecca Plant received the Best Master Thesis Award 2023 from the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Germany Chapter for her thesis "Estimation of Power System Inertia in an Inverter-Dominant Distribution Grid Using Machine Learning", submitted at the Institute of Electrical Power and Energy Technology (ieet) at TUHH. The thesis was supervised by Simon Stock.

The official award ceremony took place during the PES Germany Chapter Workshop "Future Energy Systems" at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
